Why Book Auntie?

Every family has that one auntie who shows up with strong opinions, excellent recommendations, and absolutely no filter. That’s me, but for books and other nerdy things like Genghis Khan, Eastern dragons, and why ATLA is the best IP of all time (IYKYK). Also, I almost got into an argument with a stranger on the internet and thought, “not today, Satan” and decided to write a Substack instead.

This is the place where I deep dive into the stories I love: the tropes, the mythology, the craft behind why certain narratives hit different and point you toward the next thing you’re going to be obsessed with before you even know you need it.
